Improved Phone Performance
The Treo 700wx smartphone combines the user friendly design of a cell phone with Palm’s advanced features and functionality. Carry thousands of business and personal phone numbers with you, and dial any of them directly from your contacts list, QWERTY keyboard, or on-screen dial pad. Speakerphone, speed dial, conference calling, call history, caller ID, and distinct Send/End keys make managing all your calls that much easier. The Visual caller ID is yet another feature of the Treo 700wx, along with Polyphonic and MP3 ring tones. Use these features to customize your rings for individual callers, or attach a picture to a phone book number in your address book to create customized caller alerts.

EV-DO Broadband Access
The Treo 700wx uses Sprint’s EV-DO broadband network. The EV-DO network is the clear leader among 3G high-speed wireless options, providing users with lightening fast Internet access. Already available in 32 U.S. metro areas, EV-DO delivers faster speeds than any other wireless data network, offering users average speeds of 300-500kbps, with downloads peaking at 2.4mbps. EV-DO coexists with Sprint’s CDMA 1xRTT network, ensuring Treo users will have excellent coverage throughout the nation.

Microsoft® Windows Mobile™
The wide range of applications for the Windows Mobile-based Pocket PC feature a familiar interface and consistent functionality, so they’re easy to learn and use right away. Pocket versions of popular Microsoft applications let you easily update and share the same data.

New Microsoft software for Windows Mobile™-based devices includes the PowerPoint® Mobile™ application for viewing presentations while on-the-go, and Excel® Mobile™ with chart support for an improved email attachment viewing experience. Treo Email Wireless Email
The Treo 700wx allows you to send and receive email directly from the device. Send and receive email in real time, as well as view photos, video, HTML and native Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint attachments Built-In Email Includes full access to Microsoft Outlook®, in addition to POP3 and IMAP email clients. Pocket MSN® offers a fully integrated smart data service offering universal sign-in; MSN Hotmail® and Inbox integration, plus MSN® Messenger alerts. The browser supports multiple Internet standards, such as HTML, cHTML and WAP, and provides multiple web viewing options. Optimized viewing minimizes horizontal scrolling and makes content fit the small screen, while wide screen view provides the familiar interface of a desktop web browser. Powerful Organizer
Microsoft ActiveSync® (version 4.1) allows for fast and easy synchronization of email, contacts, calendar, tasks, and documents lets you organize business and personal information in one convenient place. Treo MP3 MP3 Player
The Treo 700wx lets you play MP3s and RealAudio files directly from its built in speaker. (You can also attach stereo headphones to the device.) You can organize your songs by creating and editing play lists right on your smartphone and view a full display of current tracks playing using Windows Media Player 10 Mobile. The Treo 700wx’s MP3 player also allows you to transfer your personal music collection to an expansion card (sold separately) to play on the Treo 700wx smartphone.
