At .45 inches thin, the new Motorola Q is the slimmest smartphone on
the market. The Motorola Q features a full QWERTY electroluminescent
keyboard and a sleek metallic finish. Its brilliant touch screen displays
65,000 hues with a sharp 320x240-pixel resolution, making colors pop
out and producing crisp text and images.
Exceptionally lightweight, the Q includes
a trackwheel for easy one handed navigation, 5-way navigation pad and
quick access keys. The Q offers Infrared and Mini-USB ports, supports
Bluetooth, and includes an expansion slot compatible with SD, SDIO,
and Multimedia memory cards. The Motorola Q ships with 128MB of flash
memory.

Broadband Access
The Q uses Verizon's EV-DO broadband network. The EV-DO network is the
clear leader among 3G high-speed wireless options, providing users with
lightning fast Internet access. Already available in 32 U.S. metro areas,
EV-DO delivers faster speeds than any other wireless data network, offering
users average speeds of 300-500kbps, with downloads peaking at 2.4mbps.
EV-DO coexists with Verizon’s CDMA 1xRTT network, ensuring that
Q users will have excellent coverage throughout the nation.

The Q features Windows Mobile 5 Smarthpone Edition. The wide range of
applications for Windows Mobile-based Pocket PCs feature a familiar
interface and consistent functionality, so they’re easy to learn
and use right away. Pocket versions of popular Microsoft applications
let you easily update and share the same data.
New Microsoft software for Windows Mobile™-based
devices includes the PowerPoint® Mobile™ application for viewing
presentations while on-the-go, and Excel® Mobile™ with chart
support for an improved email attachment viewing experience. The Q also
includes versions of familiar applications such as Microsoft Outlook®,
Pocket Internet Explorer 4.0, Windows Media™ Player 10, and Microsoft

Phone Features
Exceptionally lightweight, the Q is ideally designed for use as a cell
phone. Utilizing Verizon's nationwide network, the Q provides excellent
coverage throughout the U.S. The Q provides rich, crystal clear sound
quality and features a built-in speakerphone. The Q ships with a stereo
earbud headset. Bluetooth support also gives you the option to use this
phone with wireless headsets.
The Q also features Voice Signal voice
dialing software, which allows you to select any of your contacts by name
and dial the number by speaking the digits. You can make a call directly
from contacts as well as other built-in applications. Other phone features
of the Q include speed dialing, call history, and call muting.

Wireless Email
The Q allows you to send and receive email directly from the device. Send
and receive email in real time, as well as view photos, video, HTML and
native Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint attachments. Built-In Email
includes full access to Microsoft Outlook®, in addition to POP3 and
IMAP email clients. Pocket MSN® offers a fully integrated smart data
service offering universal sign-in; MSN Hotmail® and Inbox integration,
plus MSN® Messenger alerts. Microsoft® Exchange ActiveSync®
allows for wireless integration with Exchange Server 2003.
You can also synchronize your device with
your desktop. The Sync application supports popular business email solutions,

the internet at lightning fast speeds using your Microsoft Pocket Internet
Explorer Browser. Its vibrant display and powerful processor provides
a rich wireless web viewing experience.
The browser supports multiple Internet
standards, such as HTML, cHTML and WAP, and provides multiple web viewing
options. Optimized viewing minimizes horizontal scrolling and makes content
fit the small screen, while wide screen view provides the familiar interface
of a desktop web browser. An online search feature and quick links to
popular content such as news, sports, movies, stock quotes and weather
allow you to locate information easily. |

Optimized for multimedia, the Q lets you capture still pictures and video,
store and play MP3 files, and even watch streaming video.
The Q has an integrated 1280 x 1040 (1.3
MegaPixel) digital camera with 6x zoom and automatic light balancing.

or send them straight to a friend via email or MMS. The built-in camcorder
lets you record videos, play them on the LCD screen and easily save them
right on the device.
The Q lets you play MP3s and RealAudio
files directly from its built in speaker. (You can also attach stereo
headphones to the device.) You can organize your songs by creating and
editing play lists right on your smartphone and view a full display of
current tracks playing using Windows Media Player 10 Mobile. The Q's MP3
